unable to connect my android device #295

Hey there! As the title says, i am unable to connect my android device with my deckboard application on my pc. After some problems with my windows system, i've done a clean reinstall of windows and downloaded all of the latest updates inclusive the latest 1903 update. After this my problems started. Bevor the clean reinstall, everything works fine for me without the 1903 update. Could it be, that this function update block everything? I've also tryed diferent andoid devices and tested out the 1.7.0 rc client for windows.

Anyone an idea, what else I can try?

Greetings

Yuri

For Wifi or USB? Maybe you didnt enter in the correct ip for the wifi? If you were using USB you probably have to download adb and put in the command found in the help section on the app

Make sure your firewall setting allows Deckboard to access the network. And also make sure you correctly set the directory of the app in the firewall settings. See this issue for reference https://github.com/rivafarabi/deckboard/issues/240#issuecomment-527549456

Both the same. Via wifi I've tryed to connect with scanning the qr code and entering the ip manuelly, both didn't worked.

I will take a look in my firewall list and give feedback later. :)

Okay. Sorry for keep you waiting. I've done a clean install of version 1.6.3 and added the deckboard application in my firewall list, as @rivafarabi said. Now everything ist working fine again. Thanks guys! =)
