  1. Norton's cancer.
  2. Deckboard needs access to various things Norton THINKS is bad.
  3. Deckboard's code is right there for you to see, go through it instead and judge for yourself if it's something you wanna install... Seriously.
  4. Norton has SO many false positives, it's just disgusting and it's a virus in itself...

So this post doesn't really belong here at all... it's a YOU and NORTON issue... NOT a Deckboard issue...

Thank you and please accept my apologies; I did not mean to cast aspersions on your program which is both great and also great value. I downloaded v1.9.82 (I had previously downloded v1.9.81) and had no problems at all - even with Norton running. I don't usually post on Github - I am not a programmer - so I am sorry if my etiquette was wrong. I don't know of a way to remove my "bug report" but I would be happy to do so if want me to and can tell me how. Thanks again Bill Neil

It's not my software, it's just a project I wholeheartedly support, I mean, bringing us a more or less free streamdeck with no noticeable latency, even over wifi is just amazing.

Now to fix your Norton problem, I highly suggest that you uninstall it, now... since Norton is such cancer, it's not so easily removed, unless they've changed it, so you're probably gonna have to look for an uninstallation guide for that.

Once you're done with that, you go to my site, I've compiled a couple of chrome extensions that'll keep you SAFER than Norton would, given that you apply some common sense and not click on every link you see, alright, click here If you don't trust the links I've provided, you can just search for them on the google extension store, don't worry, I'm not offended if you decide to go that route, that's just healthy browsing, which I HIGHLY condone.

If I were an antivirus program, I'd think a program that can send keystrokes for a user to be dangerous.

But I love this app.
