ghost commented 5 years ago

When I try to connect my phone to my PC via the QR-Code or even the IP address, it shows "The device can not connect to your computer, please try again." while before it worked without any worries.

rivafarabi commented 5 years ago

Did you use another IP addresses listed on "Possible IP Addresses"?

ghost commented 5 years ago

I tried but he shows me that.

Loot-Bag commented 5 years ago

I'm having the same issue, restarted both the mobile app and the desktop app, still getting the connection error.

Loot-Bag commented 5 years ago

It has worked for me in the past but I sat down to start streaming today and now my device wont connect.

rivafarabi commented 5 years ago

I suggest to check the firewall setting. Because most of the similar cases caused by firefox doesn't allow the connection.

I just installed your free app on my new android v9. I was considering buying your add free Pro version if this app works for me but I can't even get it to connect to my host computer's IP address. The message says to try another optional address but I don't see any list of optional address. No matter, I no the IP of my host machine. There is no firewall on this machine or in between the host and your app. I have no problem SSHing into it. The hosting computer in question is running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS with OBS v24 and the latest version of OBS-WebSockets. I assume that this app is trying to connect through port 4444 with no authentication.

Question: What does Firefox have to do with it?

rivafarabi commented 4 years ago

Would you mind to send me the database.db file (located in C:/User/%USERNAME%/deckboard)?

I also have the same issue with my phone not being able to connect to my computer. I have a redmi note 9 and everything is up to date. i did the qr and then the ip address and i also did everything when i pressed help on the error, from the different ip, firewall, same network connection, both vpn are off no mobile data connection. My websocket on obs is on the latest version as well, and every since i tried to download voicemeeter extension every time i open deckboard now on my pc an error message pops up saying javascript error occured in main process. I also tried via usb connection but the setup just confuses me. My deckboard is on the latest version which is 1.9.84. It worked for the first time this morning when i tested and just now(its already evening) when i tested again it wont let me connect.

The same for me, but i'm using POP_OS

I'm using Android 10 Os, Connected via Wifi on my same network. I already allowed permissions for deckboard.exe on my firewall, I updated both apps (I didn't used them since I installed them back on Jan 2021, thinking I could find the solution to connectivity) and here I am, October 2021, still fighting the connectivity issue. Again, I tried the USB cable and the Wifi scan method. The application simply did not connect. What other step do I need to take? Thanks.

3dcinetv commented 3 years ago

**Update*** I uninstalled the old apps (both PC and Android). Restarted PC. Turned off Firewall for PRIVATE connections. Reinstalled both PC and Android apps, and I used the USB cable connect method, and it connected. Now I need to try the WIfi method (again) to see if it works...

Update 2 I needed to turn off my firewall completely (private and public network) and scan the wifi code after. THEN, the application connected to the PC and triggers the button commands.

How?

GrimeBros commented 1 year ago

I am having the same "Device cannot connect to your computer" issue. I have the pro version and it just stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it 4 times with no luck. Android 11 on the tablet and the phone, neither work now. It is on a 13th gen intel system using windows 10. Any suggestions? i totally disabled the firewall and that didn't help.

I find the solution in this video from Youtube, if you don't trust the link search like this "Criando um StreamDeck via DeckBoard e tablet - passo a passo"
