Blank SGM menu screen on startup.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Load SGM from HBC

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the SGM boot up, but a blank SGM-style menu screen appears 
instead, followed by a freeze. Need to hard reset to get back to wii system 
menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
r104 on d2x v5

Please provide any additional information below.
My .cfg file seems it is not being created properly. When i delete it and 
re-run the SGM, it appears in the folder but the .cfg file is empty.
