what is the link? is it to one of your own playlists? how about btp or piano?

KCreek1 commented 1 year ago

I don't know if this is the same as on iPad but...

On iPhone - I could share the playlist link for both the best of/piano and my created playlists.

The Best of/piano links worked and led me to the corresponding playlists.

However, the links to my created playlists led to "playlist not available".

I assumed that was due to the fact that issue #7 has reappeared wherein any playlist I create leads to "page not available" once I close and reopen the app.

So not that the link didn't work but that the playlist didn't actually create.

I’m currently going through my playlist links. Some are intermittently working today but not consistently. I haven’t been doing anything differently when copying/pasting.

The piano playlist has both worked and not worked at various attempts. BTP has never shown up in my main account so I’ll try from another account now… and it appears that BTP is the only one that consistently works. My own playlists have been the same as Piano—intermittently and unpredictably working or not.

I’ve tried various methods on the links—visiting the link by pasting in my browser from the weezify.web.app page, from a page with a playlist link that worked, pasting in a new tab, and from a page that had a non-working playlist. The results have been unpredictable; I can try the same link multiple times but sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I wanted to try using a different account on the web app, but it appears I can’t sign out on web.

Here are links that have given Page Not Available messages at some attempt:

Additional information: All of these are instances where playlists were actually created, rather than from newly created accounts that have the issue of disappearing or not creating playlists.

I'm having same result as before. I create a playlist and add songs but the link takes to page not available.

I believe that's because the created playlists don't stay. Once I close app and reopen - they're gone.

But the best of playlist links work.

The issue changed temporarily for me in Weezify 1.13.0 (188) on iPad: at first it appeared I could copy a link but the shared playlist was not to my chosen playlist. Subsequent tests can’t replicate and I get the above “page not available” message.

On my own account. I can successfully share the link of one old, created playlist. More recently created playlists, display inconsistently. Those playlists display 'Page Not Available' when sharing their links.

On Android (build 189), copied a link by long-pressing on an existing playlist, opened Weezify in chrome, pasted the link and it opened the correct playlist.

On both iPhone SE 2nd gen and iPad 7th gen - the links I created for both a created playlist and best of playlists would open web app but not load any playlist. It led to a screen that had the top and bottom app bar and the player bar but no other info.

When copying and sharing links to Bundle and Created Playlists, it results in only the header and footer of the app displaying in the web browser witn Android build 191 (13.1.1).

KCreek1 commented 11 months ago

The links I sent for playlists (both best of playlists and playlists I created) led to the piano playlist.

The link can be created but it doesn't open a playlist in iOS 200 (1.14.1) https://github.com/riverscuomo/public-bug-hunt/assets/144278926/f7ed51a7-9677-4a70-945f-9980c68f4378

from @Mel01000001

Shared playlist links are working more consistently, but

Multiple Instances of the app

This is after clearing the cache, having the app open and clicking on two different emailed links:

https://github.com/riverscuomo/flutter-apps/assets/144285674/2a98e4a0-6d2d-486e-a77f-5fa44ae65664

Now after closing the app, I tried two different emailed links (black room and weezma). This was the result:

The test links both opened in browser. None opened in app.

Using Android v14, a newly-generated playlist link sent through a text message successfully opened in the app.

(The example link in the Google Sheet also opened in the app, but opened a blank screen)

Mel01000001 commented 8 months ago

Android v14 on Samsung Galaxy S23+ link on spreadsheet for issue 37, opened in mobile app. Link for issue 38, opened to grey screen playing piano track, but when doing screen recording for github, it worked. Seems to be inconsistent.

Both the playlist link and the track link now open the app. However they do not open a specific playlist or track.

Per a chat in the Discord, this is still occurring as of May. I created this playlist in the morning and shared it out, but it returned the same error page: https://weezify.web.app/playlist/UVofUqiTcrx1CsvYtKXl. Another user tried the same thing and we replicated the issue.

I was using the Android app to create the playlist. And tried the share feature in both Android and the web app.
