To change the Betti number tool tip display, one has to click away from the displayed box and then hover over a point again. It'd be better to have a system which doesn't involve any clicking to update the tool tip.

On a newer version of Mac OS this seems to be working as expected, so marking as resolved.

I don't know why I never responded to this. But, no, they don't on OSX. They take about 10 seconds to disappear on their own, and before they disappear, another one won't pop up.

I didn't try on the linux box recently.

I don't understand this problem. Don't the tooltips automatically change, with no clicking, as you move the mouse around the Line Selection Window?

(I assume that the RIVET window is the active window on the desktop -- i.e. it's the window on the screen that has the "focus".)
