What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. ipod touch 2.0.2
2. touchmods v1 mic
3. siphon 2.0

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
very good sound but the person i'm calling can't hear me

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
i think that the input used by the touchmods mic isn't supported anymore on
ipod touch 2.0.x

"How do I access audio input and output on the dock connector?

iPhone applications have no direct access to the dock connector. When a user
attaches
an accessory to the dock connector, the system makes that accessory available
for
recording or playing audio automatically."

Great news, Christain Eckert tested Siphon on ipod touch 1 with iphone OS 2.X
and
Macally iVoice III, and he reports Siphon and this micro works fine.

(site: http://touchmods.wordpress.com/previous-sip-voip-releases/ )

a) If you have a 1st Gen Touch, and you are running OS2.1
Mic: AFWK, no Mic is compatible with this technology :(
VoIP: still you can at least “listen to the other party” if you proceed
acc, to point b)

b) If you have a 1st Gen Touch, and you are running OS2.2,
Mic: you will need a Mic with a HW key inside. A HW key that is “approved”
by apple.
Such a mics are: iVoice III from Macally

c) If you have a 2st Gen Touch, and you are running OS2.x,
Mic: you will need the white apple headset made for the latest iPod devices
