cannot input an email as username #87

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Siphon gives a username/server error
2. Same providor with a regular username is accepted
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Beta 16 on fw 2.2

I think is an duplicated issue 20 and issue 91
