Thank you for your suggestion! However, the reason that the animation is "overpronounced" is that, since 1.14, you are able to crouch into spaces with only one and a half blocks of height, changing the eye level to be much deeper when sneaking compared to previous versions like 1.8. Changing this would effectively result in the crosshair being inaccurate, so I would have to move it down when sneaking to compensate for it, which could be confusing. I'll make sure to test it out anyways, though.

I see what you mean on that. Your explanation would make sense, best of luck anyways, hopefully you could come up with something, but of course if it's too difficult then don't worry.
note: this differs from camera transition speed
Basically in 1.8, sneaking offsets your camera downward much less than it does in the current version. Compared to 1.8 and below, the camera offset is over-pronounced, making it hard to do certain bridging techniques. It would be awesome if you could implement, it seems theoretically simple.
