What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the app drawer.
2. Put the phone down for a bit.
3. Screen goes black, but comes right back on.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Phone should be able to turn its screen off, and it tries to - but comes right
back on. If you close the drawer the screen goes off as expected.
What version of the product are you using? On what phone? What Android
version?
1.1.5, Samsung Epic 4G Galaxy S variant.
Please provide any additional information below.
This could lead to some battery drain, or with our AMOLED screens - burn in. I
discovered this by accidentally hitting the app drawer button when setting my
phone on my desk, I assumed it would turn it self off but after 15 minutes
never did.
