Your galaxy S is fucked, It's using MDPI images and sizes instead the HDPI
ones.
Uninstall and reinstall and make sure you have not hacked the phone...

Will that provide more actionbuttons?
Because if the HDPI gfx only makes the icons bigger thats not really something
i want..
And yes the phone is hacked with lcdensity hack from xda forums because Samsung
have it running in MDPI mode as standard...

Well, You basically broke your phone with that hack. No more additional
actionbuttons are possible

Please explain what you mean by broke?
And, if I didnt hack it and yadayada would it be possible to get more buttons?
And are people usually this negative?...

You made the phone HDPI while the phone is stuck using MDPI images. NOTHING can
be done to add additional buttons.

Yes, it should be possible to get more buttons, but will it? Probably not. You
have to remember, this is made for more than just one phone. While one HDPI
phone may be able to hold more buttons, another may not.

To the original poster:
You can hack your device to use even smaller graphics, but that doesn't mean
every app developer should make their apps hack-compatible with every
imaginable modification...
You can modify ADW and add more shortcuts, but we can't make it in the
"standard" app, sorry.
BTW, why don't you just use the dockbar?, you can add unlimited icons there
