Text lines superimposed and outside text box in InDesign #209

I understand you'll be focussing on browser suport but there are so few
complete Nastaliq fonts that I thought it was worth trying in InDesign.

Steps: just a paragraph of text in Adobe InDesign CS6 (Mac) - changed font from
Jameel Noori Nastaleeq to Noto Nastaliq Urdu Draft.

Expected text to reflow to accommodate bigger characters, as other paragraphs
had. Instead of reflowing, text lines superimposed over each other and moved
outside text box. Never seen that before.

Version: Adobe InDesign CS6 (Mac OS X 10.8.5)

Screenshots show text box with text selected, hidden characters switched on
(pilcrow, etc.) and character palette showing font, spacing, etc.

Apologies if this is hard to replicate/test - I really want this font to work,
which is why I'm posting.

Just out of curiosity, which "composer" do you have selected? The Paragraph
panel may show this. Selecting "Arabic" as the language may not automatically
invoke the correct composer for handling Arabic.

Sorry I couldn't check over the weekend. It's saying 'World-Ready Paragraph
Composer'. No Character style applied but not sure how to check text direction
settings. I don't have InDesign ME - I'm using Bob Levine's placeholder text
trick to access RtL text (https://forums.adobe.com/message/4398335#4398335). I
forgot text is placed from a Word doc, I might not have posted if I'd
remembered - apologies.
