CAS Authentication

• CAS login --> need to interface with IT department
• Carrying over role information from system called Banner via CAS
• Open Atrium relied heavily on Organic Groups and had to make glue code to import roles into the Groups. Can we do this just with roles now, or will we have to map some things to our new Groups?
• There may be some permissions to manage block visibility by Group
• Block Visibility Groups module as a solution?

Notes from meetings today:

• Change coming mid-june for USF CAS setup
• checkout cas_attributes module
• Roles will need to be lower_snake_case (maybe change these in migrations)
• 5.2.4
• Current plan is to run CAS server locally, need to get that setup in Lando.

CAS should be working now, tested with dfaculty user. We probably still need to take a look at http://pr-tandem2-dgreat.pantheonsite.io/admin/config/people/cas/attributes to map roles.
