Robert, Russ the whofest treasuer need to be able to match the paypal transaction to the invoice. Example For my accounting Program enteries I have to have "John Smith bought a Membership for $40 on 1/1/2016" to match it with the paypal entries.

Can the merchandise Sales Export be modified to include columns for memberships, Payment type, and Transaction # ?

The problem is that payments are to invoices, not items. In many cases, the invoice only has one item, but that is coincidental. Also, it is possible to have split or partial payments. So if someone purchased a hat for $10 and a membership for $10 on the same invoice and then paid $5 in cash and $15 in Paypal, how would you classify the payments?

We have the same problem with credit cards. We have been discussing a new set of reports to help that should be equally applicable to Paypal. I have some questions, like the one above, out to our CPA at the moment so that I can figure out how this should be done. Suggestions are welcome.
