What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Installed MacFuse 0.4.0
2. Installed MacFuse Tools 0.2.5
3. Installed NTFS-3G 1.417 (it worked bus slowly)
4. Upgraded NTFS-3G 1.516 (ext NTFS HD not mountable, can't see FAT
partition drive)
5. Uninstall NTFS-3G 1.516
6. Uninstall MacFuse Tools 0.2.5
7. Uninstal MacFuse 0.4.0 (FAT partition mounts without problems, but not
ext. HD)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
FAT partition mounts without problems, but not ext. NTFS HD after steps 1-7

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Tiger 10.4.9

Please provide any additional information below.
Please help to make my external drive mountable.

Try searching in past issue reports and/or in the macfuse-devel forum, and
possible on Google too. I don't
remember the exact issue, but this was apparently a problem with packaging of
some version of ntfs-3g. I think
the ntfs-3g uninstall didn't work cleanly either, so uninstalling didn't fix
the problem.

Please only report MacFUSE issues here (this is not a MacFUSE issue).

Found it! Thank you.
1. Uninstall NTFS-3G
2. Uninstall MacFuse
3. Delete NTFS-3G folder left behind by uninstaller
4. Reboot.

Mounting are reading of NTFS drives is back.
