Would be great to have this extension available on Firefox as well. I believe it's relatively straightforward, as all the APIs should be the same. Good luck with the fork!

👍 It's a good idea - Firefox is my main browser too. I agree a port is in order!

I've tried to install this into Firefox 96.0.3 (loading it as a debug extension) and it didn't work.

So I've changed "incognito": "split to "incognito": "spanning", in src/manifest.json and it loaded it successfully (but issued two warnings). I've ignored the warnings (see below), tried changing settings of TGD, saving them. That appeared to work. But discarding doesn't seem to work unfortunately .

Any pointers?

Btw. I haven't used Firefox for about 8 years because of its slowness (but I've kept it installed as a former fan of it and thus it was being updated with the rest of the system regularly). Suddenly I've opened it yesterday and everything was totally snappy. I have no idea what happened but this new Firefox is much faster than Chromium I've used for the years.

That's also the reason why I've tried installing The Greater Discarderer and why I'm here .
