Nothing happens in TB 68 #66

I have tried both compiling the addon and also instsalling the updated addon in TB 68 (both in Windows 10 and Lubuntu 18.10). In both cases, nothing happens. The Todo.txt calendar item doesn't appear and the list of items does not either?

It's the same issue for me. Ubuntu 18.04 and Thunderbird 68.2.2

Thanks for the feedback. I'm currently use Arch Linux and TB 68.3.1 and everything works as expected. Have you both configured the add-on using the settings window? See Menu --> Add-ons --> Todo.txt.

If so, could you share an example of your todo.txt and done.txt file so I can use them to debug the issue.

Yes I did. I am attaching the two files. I use TB in Windows 10 at work and on Lubuntu 19.10 at home with same results. When I select Tasks I get nothing in the pane (see attached screenshots of the plugin configuration and the tasks pane).

Both files sit in the root/main directory of my Dropbox folder on both systems to keep the files in sync across devices.

One thing that caught my eye in both instances (Win 10 and Lubuntu 19.10) - the addon is not creating a todo.txt calendar file...

Same issue here, TB 68.4.1, Xubuntu 19.10. There is no todo.txt calendar file. I can confirm the same with TB 68.5 and TB 68.3.1, while the addon works with TB 60.8. Please help!

I have added both.txt files in the config.

Hi, same problem here. Windows 10 with 68.6.0. The add-on doesn't create any Todo.txt calendar after installation. I tried to remove any other calendar add-on and to remove and re-install Lightning, but nothing change. Is there a way to create manually the calendar and configure it to "see" the todo.txt and done.txt files (changing the Location, for example)? Thanks a lot.

Experiencing a similar issue on Mac OS X 10.15.3 — I'm able to set the destination of my Todo and Done files, but there is no calendar created.

My apologies for the long delay, but couldn't find the amount of time needed to dive in and fix the issue. But I'm glad I can say a new version is created which should fix the issue.

Thunderbird 68 contains changes in the way that show certain windows which resulted in some core functionality not being executed by the add-on. This is now fixed.

A new version is published to Mozilla and should be made available in the next couple of days after the code review. If the issue is not fixed, feel free to reopen this issue.

@AquaMCU thank you very much, although the thought is appreciated more than the money. Unfortunately I can't seem to get to solve the issue on bountysource, because it's waiting for this issue to close which it is. Maybe you can get it to work if you have the time.

But again, if you can't no biggie, the thought is appreciated.
