attach an original Amiga Commodore mouse on the first DB9 port

Result: the MiST's LEDs are blinking, but monitor says "no video signal"
Strangely, i have no problem if a classic joystick is attached to any DB9 port. A modern USB mouse works also.
If I switch on the MiST and plug in the original Amiga mouse after booting, everything works fine.
There are is a minor difference when using different Kickstart versions. Kickstart 3.1 has no video signal at all, 1.2 shows a completely distorted picture, similiar to the defect Minimig start screen (boing ball with developer names).
