Thanks, sorry it took forever to merge.

Do you see the same behaviour with tab-complete not working with other colors chemes or just local-dir lush ones?

Sadly I didn't look into it much once the theme started working. Eventually the name showed up in the menu. My guess is the menu was cached and got repopulated at some point. Maybe all I had to do was restart nvim? I can't remember, but it works now.
