Path the the solution:

1) check the integrity of links : sphinx-build . -b linkcheck -d _build/doctrees _build/html

2) go through the list and fix the broken links

In references/components.rst the link at line 103 https://multi-vector-simulator.readthedocs.io/en/stable/Model_Assumptions.html#infeasible-bi-directional-flow-in-one-timestep leads nowhere as the anchor does not exist anymore, do you know what was the section you wanted to link to @smartie2076 ?

You mean model/components.rst, right? It leads to model/limitations.rst
