Compiled Support for CSV #10

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Are there plans to post a compiled version of BAFPRP that supports CSV?
Is the CSV process stable enough to use in a production environment.

We are currently using BAFPRP and MYSQL as an intermediary to import the
BAF file data into our system - but that creates an unnecessary level of
complexity and another system to maintain. The use of CSV would certainly
simplify things. Unfortunately, I do not have the tools to compile the
source code myself.

Thanks for all your hard work on this fantastic utility!

The csv code in the trunk should be quite stable, the only reason its still not
in
the precompiled binary is because I have a few more upgrades to do before
releasing
version 1.3. I plan to wrap up all the changes and release this version
before the
end of the year.

Would it be possible to make a financal contribution to your project to get a
compiled version and some light support? You can call me at 510-816-2946 as
well.
Thanks
Brian

I do not have any means to accept a financial contribution but if you want a
quick
compiled version I attached my build here from the latest trunk code I just
submitted
today.
There have been a few more changes than just csv output so I would run the same
tests
you ran with the older version to make sure it will work with all your systems.

Thanks for your kindness. Let me know if there is anything I can do to
reciprocate. I will test it out and let you know how it goes.
