Issue with pdf display #5

Hi,

I am running superheat under R-3.2.2, and have an issue when storing the heatmaps in pdf format. The colors in the cells are blurred, and do not follow sharply the cell contour (see attachment). This does not happen when storing in png, where it looks as expected.

Any idea ?

Thanks ! Carl

Hi,

The PDF issue is something that has been noted, and I'm honestly not sure what causes it, other than the fact that PDF isn't really designed for dense high resolution images. I'd suggest saving as png.

FYI... I actually just encountered this issue myself - it seems to be an issue with the pdf viewer rather than superheat itself. For example when using the RStudio pdf viewer the image is blurry, but if I open it in Adobe Acrobat Reader, it is clear.
