There are three main things to do here:

[x] Finish documentation for the project
[x] Push built documentation to gh-pages (possibly use ReadTheDocs)?
[x] Write CONTRIBUTING.MD

Documentation is being worked on in the add_docs branch.

Passable documentation has been written. While it still needs work, Point 1 can be checked off.
