We haven't made a formal release yet. Although we are well into the 2.4x versions of Calc, and all but Dir have at least a 1.0 version now. Significant lacks include:
WordFind GUI is non-functional
No color support in Calc GUI
Dir needs a complete rewrite in Go because of limitations on the Java command line wildcard
There are still missing gaps in Calc functionality (matrix support, holes with quaternions, complex, inconsistencies with "fill", etc.)
Lots of Intl conversion needs to happen, and Spanish translations are missing en masse.
No build document, especially building from absolute scratch (now that we've added "Calc" processing into "clean", etc.)
No plan for making source releases
No installers for any platform
So, maybe we should do a 0.9.0 release (not quite version 1.0.0), or maybe we are well beyond that and need a version 1.5 or 1.8 as our first release (does that even make sense)?
Primarily this is a research task to see what others are doing, and what makes sense for us.
