italy.1785: error: Error in if (rec[3] < rec[4]) { : missing value where TRUE/FALSE needed. # not sure what that means though. check for missing values in file

Probably related to value of '-99999998' in Total. Value should be discarded (?). See also Italy/Venice 1672
