Environmental layers Detail #219

The sources of the information should be listed in the detail view. 
Ideally the metadata should be stored somewhere, perhaps the detailed view
could include a link to the metadata?

do you have source information for the layers? for metadata, do you mean the 
ascii
grid file metadata?

We should have source information somewhere for environmental layers -- and if 
not, 
it should be properly created as metadata in ArcGIS.  Can you please ask Tom 
about 
this -- i think that if no metadata is available, he could create such.  this 
is 
something that is not so urgent, can be done later, right now a mechanism is 
needed 
to point to places (webpages) where metadata is tored

which to place the metadata until it becomes clear that something more is 
needed.
