Registration problem when email ends with .fr #221

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. register a new account with email ending in .fr
2. click the submit button

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected to get an email with the password. Instead the email never arrived.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Windows XP

Please provide any additional information below.
Registration works with .com email address.

I experienced the same problem on Mac with a .br email address.

check spam folder see if you get the email there. I got the welcome email in 
yahoo
spam folder
