searching returns meta data for private data #252

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

search results, even if private, should be returned in an obfuscated way so
that users know what
data are available even if private.

This solution to this issue needs to be better defined.

needs additional elaboration but this takes care of several related issues
pertaining to the obfuscation of private data. Data remain private but
information is available to other users about the existence/ownership of the
data. Users can then contact the owner if they require additional information.
Without this, users have no way of knowing this data exists

Two ways of implementing
- When any user searches for occurrence data, private records are returned but
show only taxonomic information, and the owner/institution (and email if that
was provided). Data are not mapped and no other fields are shown in any way
- When a user downloads a model, the model shows records that were used to
produce the model (issue #361); include here also the owner/institutions of
private records that went into the model

Also to do: update help so that providers of private data are aware that this
level of information will be provided

Very Important : When a user downloads a model, the model shows records that
were used to produce the model (issue #361); include here also the
owner/institutions of private records that went into the model. till now, no
way top do that

Presence of private records in models has been implemented (model manager);
however issue #361 is still open because this refers to the need for
recommended citation in occurrence (not model) downloads

closing because we think it's better to never show anything about private
records to anyone (apart from the TRB). In addition, the model-manager will be
changed so that emails are not shown in model metadata
