p.285 pipe confounding should be represented as X -> Z -> Y, not X <-Z -> Y #302

Should be:

The second type of relation is a PIPE: $$X \to Z \to Y$$.

Did you mean page 185? If so, it is shown correctly there in the 2nd edition.

I can confirm the error reading the 2nd edition in the O'Reilly online reader (unfortunately no page numbers are shown). Chapter 6, paragraph 6.4.1 number (2) is shown as

The second type of relation is a PIPE: X ← Z → Y.
