App is not opening on Mac OS #965

Describe the bug

Was having an amazing experience w/ the app up until tonight. Haven’t been able to open the app.

the icon bounces a few times after clicking like it would open then immediately goes away.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. go to application folder
  2. click on libation app
  3. then the app fails (problem described above)

Thank you very much for the log. This line is strange:

Too many open files : '/Volumes/tma—ssd/apps/Adobe After Effects 2024/Adobe After Effects 2024.app/Contents/aeselflink.app/Contents/Frameworks/audioprocessinglibrary.framework/Versions'

The book scanner looks for files within your "Books folder": /Volumes/tma—ssd. It looks like you must have a lot more than audiobooks in here and the book scanner is picking up on those also. I think this will solve itself if there was another folder inside of /Volumes/tma—ssd (eg /Volumes/tma—ssd/audible) where Libation can download books into. Then just point your settings to this folder. When you open the Settings box, it's the very first top box.
