Scope, context menu, and right click #24

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Double click a scope for selecting it
2. Right click for opening context menu

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Scope is deselected. Context menu only open on second right click.

How about deselecting a scope with a double click instead by a right click?

Thanks a lot for your work! TikzEdt is just awesome!

Thanks!
Currently the default behavior is to deselect with right click.
(Both tools and selected scopes are deselected that way, so when you have a
tool and a scope selected, it takes 3 right clicks to open the context menu.)
I agree that in the situation you describe this is a bit counterintuitive.
I think we should change to deselect with single left click outside of the
scope's area, or ESC.
Doubleclick is also used for Jump-To-Source already.... so I don't want to
overuse it.
