This is a duplicate of "#3650: Prefixes are inaccurately documented for the User Guide" because both talk about the p/ and t/ being improperly documented in the prefixes section.

In the user guide, the prefix p/ is specified for the telegram handle, when it is in fact used for the phone number. In fact, the prefix for the phone number is not mentioned anywhere in the table.
