Not the image, the path, like "c\abgf\shenmue\blah.gdi" for example.

A GDI is a full dump, and please test again with a non-optimized build.

I tired both non optimized and optimized and I know GDI is a full dump I just
tried other versions of the game to see if my dump was bad. Still all do it.

Use non-optimized builds when reporting, and check the console for messages.
I just tried and have no problem booting a GDI version of Shenmue I, nor II
(both JAP). Does it boot in interpreter mode at least?

This is gonna sound oh so dumb but I tired google and for the life of me cant
figure out how to turn on interpreter mode.

Thanks for all the posts, I got it fixed! Looks like I had a bad pfctoc.dll
file which as you know im sure was used to mount the disc images. Downloaded a
fresh one from the disc juggler site and now works perfect! thanks!

If you downloaded it from here: http://www.padus.com/downloads/cdi.php
That's exactly the same we have. (exact hashes)
I'll mark this as an invalid report then.

Hmm yes, somehow that dll got wrecked on my end. After switching it back from
my original file to the new one it breaks and fixes the game. Sorry to trouble
you all
