mac os big sur and ableton 10 I can see logs for sync bpm but stop play buttons cause no logs, and niether do the cause the connected app to respond (hydrogen drum machine)

is ableton live rigged to JACK anyhow or, for crying out loud, is JACK up and running at all and being used by hydrogen in your case?

can't really give much help on a system that I never touched (and never felt the slightest urge to touch anyhow ;)) you should please ask some other macos' fellows for that matter, terribly sorry

cheers

jack server is running, jacklink is runing, ableton is connected to jacklink and hydrogen is connected to jack so when I run jaclklink from terminal, I see logs that are telling me that everything is hooked up plus the tempo changes do take effect. As for the mac os that you don't like - ableton is basically developed for that system and has a compatibility for windows, so I wonder why you dont like mac but still like ableton

i never told I don't like, rather I never touched one--and for that matter I don't even plan to do it on my life time ;) and still, what I find likable is Link, it just happens that it's originally proposed by Ableton--please don't confuse Link with Live. nuffsaid.
