Qtractor doesn't fully draw VST3 GUI #379

Hi.

The free plugin Grand Piano XXL by audiolatry has GUI issues. The GUI is not fully draw. I'm on Arch using the latest wine-staging, yabridge and Qtractor. I tried other DAWs and it only happens with Qtractor.

is it the only one vst3 over yabridge that shows that way? what about the native ones (not on wine)?

So far, only over yabridge.

meant if only that plugin in particular (not yabridge in general)

please test with other plugins if you can

I tested two more plugins and they all worked here and in Ardour. So far, only this plugin does not work in Qtractor, but it works in Ardour.

it seems to show up like that only on first time, while that plugin is boat-loading its huge sample-pack ...

what happens if you close the GUI and open it up again?

I did close and open again and yesterday the issue was still there. I haven't tried yet with your 2nd attempt.

fwiw. it shows up here in full on ubuntu 22.04 lts; yabridge 5.0.4; sometimes not, thus the call to just open the editor a 2nd time later.

you may try to not open a plugin editor immediately on insertion: turn off View > Options... > Plugins > Editor > Open plugin's editor (GUI) by default
