positioning the playhead with left-clicking is always achieved with the Shift or Ctrl modifiers; there is no option to change that otherwise.
maybe you're referring to "Reverse middle-button modifier role (Shift/Ctrl)" ?
In that case, I propose that this option should exist.
All the sequencers I know, both audio and video, work like this.
This reminds me of Blender's old right click, and the controversy it raised for years among users. But even Blender works today by default with left click on the timeline. :-)
So it works fine. So I correct, it's not an issue warning of a bug. It's a proposal: Left click option for playhead.
PS: Thanks for Qtractor, for me it's the best program to create music, and not only on linux, but in general. I love its work philosophy. Easy and predictable for basic tasks, and versatile for complex tasks.
Dont Work: Options/general/Options/Reverse Keyboard modifiers role (Shift/Ctrl)
Even if the option is activated, left-clicking on the timeline does not position the red playhead.
