The OEM EGS52 and EGS53 TCMs will adapt to measure the filling time of the torque converter clutch.
This is done so that when the car accelerates, the TCM will open the TCC solenoid to a fixed position for a set amount of time (Filling time), before increasing the pressure further, in order to avoid a violent clutch application
