I am interested in using this as a stand alone for swapping a 722.6 into my W124 with an OM606. Is this a viable option?
I realize, usually there is some fuelling cut that goes on between shifts to make it easier on the transmission. How hard would it be to allow the TCU to operate as a boost controller as well? If I could get it to read boost, and modulate a couple vacuum solenoids it could modulate the fuelling to allow for cleaner shifts. Obviously the W124 is not an OBD2 vehicle.
