GPS Averaging #463

'GPS Point' or 'Add Vertex' buttons get the on and off functionality of the averaging process. One click starts collecting GPS points, the other stops, calculates the average of points accumulated and adds it to the map.

While averaging process is happening, status bar shows collected GPS point count and time spent collecting.

Hi Annija & Nathan, I've merged this into my local fork, code looks good to me, and all seems to work well and as expected. Well done Annija! There were a couple of files out of sync, so the merge wasn't really straightforward, but not too bad. I'll leave it to you Nathan. Cheers, Terry

This would be a important feature to get an higher accuracy on several mobile GPS devices for data collection. I'm missing this on the vanilla QGis. Thanks for integration.

Hi, has this been merged into any recent release? I can't find it in 3.24.3?! Regards michael
