3D capture #466

Hi Nathan,

I've done a bit of testing, and this seems to be working alright. Should save points as 2D if data source is not set up for 3D, so I don't think there should be any issues with backwards compatibility. Just would like someone else to look over it before committing.

I've also pulled the GPS Averaging commit in as well.

@terry-longmacch I can't merge this yet but will look at doing it for 3.1 after I have done a 3.0 release today.
