Any chance of some example code?

Not just yet. This software has yet to be tested with real A4988 hardware, so there's a little way to go yet.

Although I do have an active project which will need to use this code in the near future, so don't despair. That said, if you need a robust A4988 driver in a hurry, you're probably in the wrong place for the time being.
