save format should use XCF version 11 (GIMP 2.10.0) #94

The primary difference being 64 bit offsets.

Currently files are saved as version 2, which is normally fine, but if you did have a > 4 GB file, it would not save properly (although I don't think Seashore would open it now anyway due to size limitations)
