I was looking for this issue on google but nothing appeared I use VSCode on Windows 10 and i connect through SSH to a Debian server and I use Synthwave theme, but when i want to use "Enable Neon Dreams" it says: "You must run VS code with admin privileges in order to enable Neon Dreams"

But, theres no "Client" of VS-Code that im running on the server just the "Remote Development" add-on that creates a "vscode server" folder, and i already have the privileges

Is there a way to use it?

You have to proceed with a small fix (And you will have to do it after each VS Code update): https://github.com/robb0wen/synthwave-vscode/issues/146#issuecomment-770128215

Then, after restat; it will says that your installation of VScode is corrupt, but you can hide this message.

IMPORTANT : As VSCode just introduced a breaking change, on 1.7.0 it no longer works, you can proceed (on your server) on a small fix https://github.com/robb0wen/synthwave-vscode/issues/263#issuecomment-1186112572 , or wait for the update)

Hello again, I tried everything and it won't work, even in windows (I tried reinstalling the extension too) I was looking for extension.js and I saw that the error that the try/catch gets it's an ENOENT specifically, I don't know if it helps that info. Edit: also when I remove the try/catch I get that "synthwave84.enableNeon" doesn't exist

So there's no way to solve it, it seems :(
