While the suggestions seem like a reasonable idea for communicating how messages are structured, they're also a holdover from when the focus of Keep Posted was specifically "all hands meetings" and most of the suggestions lend themselves to very general topics.
This is done and pushed to production.
What's the problem you're hoping this new feature will solve?
Right now the "General Update" message type suggests three semi-random topics to talk about as a starting point.
It's been observed that this is rarely useful other than giving people a general idea of what you could talk about. The topics are nearly always cleared out and replaced with something more appropriate for what the person wants to talk about.
There may be other ways of communicating the clip-based structure of Keep Posted messages than dumping people in the middle of an example that they will then immediately back out of.
Description of feature
Rather than starting with a list of suggested clips ("We’ve picked some topics as a starting point."), give an explanation of what clips are and how they will be selected, and offer the option of suggesting clips as a secondary action.
Alternatives and workarounds
Right now, people have to clear out all the suggested clips if they want to start from scratch
