Hey. Thanks for the PR. It meets the requirements of the related issue quite well. I did leave you one question in code comments. Also, I did a bit more thinking and talking to people about how to manage this whole install process with pip, conda, docker, etc., and I may want to tweak things a bit. Can you open this same PR against the develop branch, so I can merge and tweak there?
