14 years ago Code is in place to do this - the problem is the availability of the Legislation UK API. When the API is fully available, the links are generated so that they point to specific Sections within the Act
Not sure whether it is yet able to handle links to Chapters and Parts
"This looks useful but would be even better if the links went to appropriate parts of the legislation referred to in the Bill rather than just the start of each Act."
"The link just goes to the contents page of the statute: given the length of the statutes that is not great for a user. And when I did it I realised I had forgotten the section number I had expected to be linked to as I had assumed it would go to the section concerned : or in one case to the part of the Act as one clause is amending different bits of different sections."
