R: blank factor levels are not regarded as missing in unitab #1

Probably needs an if branch that deals with factors because the useNA=FALSE option to table doesn't cut it. They should be labeled as too.

Checked various scenarios. Advice given to avoid it by careful factor level labelling. This is better than any workaround to second-guess what people want from their factors.
