This device should be supported already.

If it doesn't show up in iOS, make sure it's enabled in the HomeKitty app settings's "Devices List".

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

The sensor is in Homey. But I don’t see it in Apple home.😳

If I tap on "Publish all devices to HomeKit", the app can no longer be used.

I have no choice but to restart the HomeKitty app.

After restarting HomeKitty, all supported devices are available in Apple Home. The only exception is Shelly plus H&T.

robertklep commented 9 months ago

It's shown as being exported to Home, so why it's not showing up, I don't know, but that's an issue with Home, not with HomeKitty.

If you have any Home hubs (Apple TV, HomePod), try rebooting them.

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

Thank you very much for Your help. I have one Apple-TV. It is ofline. Also I have 5 HomePods, 2 iPads 2 iPhones, 2 Macs. I just have reboot all. It did not solve the problem.

I also removed the HomeyKitty Bridge in Home and added it again. That didn't help either. 😒

robertklep commented 9 months ago

It's also not shown in the Sensors list? (in the Home app, press the circle with three dots at the top right, then Home Settings, then Sensors)

That's not the correct one, the correct one is the list of accessories:

It should show up there.

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

Wow, thank you very much. There it is πŸ€— It even shows the correct readings. But it doesn't show up in my Apple Home dashboard!😒

That's because sensors aren't shown as tiles in Home πŸ€·πŸΌβ€β™‚οΈ

When you select the "Klima" category, you should see Temperature/Humidity:

Their values are coming from temperature/humidity sensors, like the H&T.

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

Yes, that's how it is. I could just about understand it.

There is a HomePod mini in every room. These also have temperature sensors whose values are displayed there. In the room where the Shelly plus H&T is now also located, two values are displayed.

I assumed that the Shelly plus H&T would be displayed in Apple Home in the same way as the HeatIt.

There is also no HomePod mini in the living room, but a first generation HomePod. This does not have a temperature sensor. Therefore, only one measured value is displayed here, namely that of the HeatIt.

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain this to me. ☺️

And thanks also for the really great Homie Kitty app. I will support it πŸ˜€.

robertklep commented 9 months ago

The HeatIt is a thermostat, I think? Controllable devices like that are shown in a tile.

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

Yes, it is 😊

glupschis-home commented 9 months ago

One last question. It has nothing to do with HomyKitti, but maybe you know: Can you use the temperature and humidity readings from a Homepod Mini in a Homey Flow? I have not found a Homyapp for the Hompod.

robertklep commented 9 months ago

AFAIK that's not possible, no.
