The generic driver only has a limited set of modules/icons, which you have to set during the pairing process (you can't change them afterwards). I don't think the T1 is an type that you can choose, and it's really preferable to pick the correct (more specific) driver for your device.
For that, you have to make sure that in the Tasmota configuration (using the built-in webserver of Tasmota), you set the module type correctly. If you do that, the Homey app should be able to find the device when pairing with the more specific "T1 1CH" device (which also sets the proper icon).
Hi Robert, Thanks for the prompt response and this is the model of my Sonoff Touch: https://www.itead.cc/smart-home/sonoff-touch.html so this model is not T1 1CH! and during the setup, there is no selection for this model, so I am forced to choose Generic. At my Tasota config the device is selected as "10 Sonoff Touch"
Thanks,
I'm actually not quite sure that the difference between the Touch and the T1 1CH is. They look very similar to me.
Try setting the module type to T1 1CH (module number 28) and pick the T1 1CH driver.
Thanks for the great support I removed the devices and then I configured them like T1 1CH and now all is perfect.
Thanks,
Thanks for the feedback! I will add a separate driver for the Touch nonetheless, but at least for now, you have a working device 😄
Hi Robert,
I flashed my Sonoff EU Touch devices with Tasmota firmware and while I was trying to connect them to my Homey I choose "Generic (Tasmota)" because the "T1 1CH (Tasmota)"option was not working for me. They are connected and working perfect but the icon on the Homey is not showing the Sonoff Touch but just s Sonoff logo.
Any idea how to fix this?
Thanks,
