downloaded from the internet" can display.

On what operating system? OSX 10.7.5
Which firmware have you selected ?
opentx-stock-ppmca-gvars-symlimits-autoswitch-en.hex

Please provide any additional information below.

I have 3 macs all running 10.6.8 - 1.42 does not open -
the last Companion 9x iteration that would actually start up was v 1.34
thanks for your efforts!

Latest companion was compiled 64 bit on MAC OS X Mountain Lion
we are still trying to get someone to create a new complete package from
scratch.
Neither I nor Bertrand have access to a MACOSX desktop.

Hi Gents

I have a MacOSX machine (10.7.5) with XCode etc.

What I don't have is the knowledge to compile code (sad, I know).

If someone would be able to walk me through the process via messaging or skype,
I am happy to have a go. I believe that OSX is largely a BSD Unix
implementation and that most / many of the tools carry over.

companion9x Update 1.43-test.dmg appears to work. I installed the 0.97 version
to my Applications folder (it opened with no problems) and I then copied the
update to that folder (which updates/overwrites the older 0.97 version files).
I'm running OS X 10.7.5.

Regards,
John

I just updated the MacBook from OS X 10.6.8 to 10.7.5 and have no problems now.
Installed 0.97 and then copied the 1.43-test to the Applications folder.

John
